I wrote this for my other blog, but I believe it's important for breastfeeding mother's to know that this is out there. Since I have written this little tid bit, i have no seen them selling this at store's all over. I still do not think that many people know that this product exhists so I want to spread the news. If you choose to nurse your baby, there is a safe option out there so that you can enjoy a glass of wine and unwind.

"I had to share this with all of you who are or will be breast feeding because I know that when I was nursing I had questions on this topic and had to do a lot of research to find out about it. I along with other breastfeeding mother's I knew, had the question of breast feeding and alcohol safety.

This product that I just came across takes all of the guesswork out of it. I wish they had this while i was nursing my son!!!! I am not a big drinker, but I do love the occasional drink to unwind or relax. I remember one time that I was in a wedding and had a few too many. Of coarse I fed my son pumped breast milk, but it would have been nice to know for sure when the alcohol left my breast milk for sure for the next feeding!!!! They are these test strips that test if there is any alcohol left in breast milk before you go ahead and breast feed your baby next!! If it is a negative, you just go ahead and nurse your baby, if it is positive it just means for that feeding find an alternative feeding method (ex. bottle, pumped milk, etc.). Then test again before the following feeding!!! How cool is that??..."
